For a lot of people the 5% US Federal budget cut aka Sequestration aka “The Fiscal Cliff” that went into effect last January has been a non-issue.* Tell that to the Customs and Border Patrol station at Dallas/Ft. Worth Airport. During the business summer travel season some 20+ international flights arrive at roughly the same time. Since sequestration DFW CBP has seen a 25% reduction in staff during peak hours. The result of less staffing and more flights is predictable.
